Glory of the Horde: 5.1 by Panther-Anthro, Clan KOSD Glory of the Horde, is based upon a 'what-if' the Orcs had won Warcraft II, using this assumption, a tapestry unfolds, and creates a new world, set within the confines of a Ravaged Azeroth! Eh, Monarchs generally at least have both a) rules of succession, and b) dynasties to rest upon for legitimacy purposes. It’s still a single point of failure system, sure, but there’s more behind it in terms of recovery, fail over, and who/what comes next. The systems aren’t always respected, followed, or effective (CGPGrey does an excellent video on the English Monarchy and the chaos therein) but at least they can be called a system. They have something regarding a clear chain of inheritance, and most even have somewhat divided powers once parliaments become a thing. In England, once King James the Xth was dead, you at least knew who was supposed to replace him (King James the Xth + 1) and why.Once Sylvanas is good and dead, who the hell knows? Basic Campfire for WarChief and all that. It’s a bad system, and it needs extensive overhauling, or better yet, just go away completely.
I think that at this point it matters very little, we don’t have many options anyway.Thrall coming back? Sure, let’s forget he was letting his people starve in the name of peace.Baine? He’s more worried about pleasing the Alliance than acting on what’s best for the Horde, he’s not warchief material.Gallywix? He would be a good choice, but he barely stands being in charge because it’s for his people. Who knows?Saurfang? He already refused the position for being too old and now? Yeah no, he’s Baine but a little more hardcore. In the end, Blizz will do whatever they want regardless, and chances are the Alliance will have to save the Horde from its own incompetence again.
Arku:I was really hoping Thrall would sacrifice himself as a final slap to the face of Garrosh, steering him back to the path of honor, making him a worthy warchief. He would do that before Garrosh started committing irredeemable war crimes of course. To be fair, at the end of Cataclysm, Thrall knew he was on his way to fatherhood. Before honor and sacrificing one’s self for the glory of the Horde, they’d choose their own wife and children. That’s more logical to me than throwing himself on his own sword so Garrosh would wake up. It makes sense to me that Thrall’s most basic instincts would tell him he has to survive to be a proper father to his children. No one should be Warchief.I mean, it’s as simple as that. If the Warchief isn’t a megalomaniac, they get assassinated.
I mean, let’s look at the list of Warchiefs:Thrall: Grew the Horde, set Garrosh up to dramatically fail when he decided to ditch the Warchief job to become Green Jesus and care for his family. Cheated in a duel to kill Garrosh.Garrosh: Proud warrior, reinvigorated the Horde’s focus in Ashenvale and beyond.
Went too far and drank the Old God juice and became a threat to both Alliance and Horde.Vol’jin: Just up and died. Don’t even think he had a chance to do anything.Sylvanas: Decided to skip the concepts of Honor that Garrosh held and goes on a genocidal rampage because???I still don’t fully grasp Sylvanas’ motivations.Really, the Horde needs to ditch the Warchief thing seeing as 2/4 of the Warchiefs became enemies to both factions, 1/4 of them didn’t even get a chance, and Thrall just decided to say, 'I’m done now gl team ' before doing his own thing and leaving a unprepared Garrosh at the helm without any kind of procedure. It’s not the best political hierarchy around. With Sylvanas on the outs, we’ve run out of villainous warchiefs. So the Horde can’t keep getting set up as villains in the future expansion unless they shoehorn in a new character they’ll inevitably go crazy because their ability to write for the Horde is laughably weak.I’d be happy with a return of Thrall because he embodies the Hordenod Warcraft III; the Horde that I joined.
Tired of this old Orcish Horde/Scourge Horde that we’ve been forced into. The Horde was interesting because it was a group of normally villainous monsters that proved they weren’t mindless killing machines.
And then Garrosh and Sylvanas turned us back into that stereotype, eliminating one of the coolest aspects of the Horde.I hope it comes back. I like the creativity of a savage but noble group of not similar races. Even the undead had some level of honor; they wanted to live in a world that hated them. Now they’re just proving why they should all be dead. Darrin:I don’t care about the race of the warchief.
I just want one that is competent and won’t turn evilLasting more than one expansion without being stabbed by an unnamed demon with an unexplained Blade of Mysteriously Unhealable Inevitable Fatality would be nice too. The writers didn’t even have the decency to use an artifact, even though IIRC quite a few of the artifacts start out in the Legion’s hands and have to be taken by force by players. As for Thrall, I think he’d be better off staying in the Earthen Ring for a while rather than getting back into normal politics, but losing his powers does kind of complicate that idea. Unless he’s going to spend a patch or so asking them to help him reconnect to the elements.

My concern is about the jobs. Basic Campfire is planning on openning many cooking jobs because when the cataclysm strikes much food will go to waste, he thinks food thats warm and nice cooked from a campfire like himself will help everyone live happier, more peaceful, and offer fire food that wil even make Deathwing smile and stop thinking about world domination and use him as the new Horde pet!Basic Campfire would also employ those orcs in the gathering of firewood.
Those that continued to riot would meet with Basic Campfire's Secretary of Labor, Booterang. What is B.C.'

S healthcare policy? Is it the dps's own stupid fault for standing in the aoe, or should the healers pull their thumb out and press more than 1 button a minute?B.C. Thinks although dps may be idiotic and stand in the aoe and fire, healers should be nice and heal them and then not group with them again if they continue to be stupid, and if they are to much of a pain just allow them to leave a group and he will give them lessons on why standing in the fire is a bad idea.To the territorial claim quest, B.C. Believes the horde and the alliance deserve equal land so both can gather firewood and promote cooking to help make all the enemies of Azeroth subdue and eat, and for those who like violence, they can raid the Alliance while eating with torches and stones!
